Share hosting and manage your attendance

Add co-hosts without mixing attendance with permissions.

  1. Manage hosts

Open event Settings → Event hosts. Add hosts searches accounts by name; compare account identifiers for duplicate names. Any assigned occurrence host may add or remove hosts or choose Leave as host. Add a replacement before removing the last host. Group ownership is independent.

  2. Choose a scope

Series hosts and group owners can choose This event, This and future events, or All upcoming events in this series. Occurrence-only hosts can manage only that occurrence. Existing completed events remain historical. A bulk assignment can include someone already hosting the current event.

  3. Choose whether to attend

Creating or being appointed to an event registers you if space is available; otherwise you join its waitlist, even when ordinary waitlisting is disabled. Hosts do not jump the queue. Your existing account-linked group player is reused; unrelated guest identities and group memberships are unchanged.

  4. Opt out or resume

In My attendance as a host, choose This event or This and future events, then Don’t attend. You keep hosting permission. Attend / resume attendance re-enables registration or waitlisting. Future choices follow new occurrences and series splits. Removing a host assignment does not withdraw their attendance.

  5. Resolve simultaneous edits

When another host saves first, your settings or roster draft remains visible with a conflict. Choose Refresh and review, compare the latest state with your draft, then save deliberately. Eventus never automatically resubmits a stale edit.
