Competition

Score, correct, and audit matches

Record results once and preserve the trail when reality changes.

  1. Select the scoring rule

When creating a match, choose winner-only, high score, low score, sets, or the supported placement form. Configure draws or best-of behavior before play.

  2. Finalize the result

Choose Enter result on an unfinished match, enter the required scores or winner, and finalize. Edit players is in the match’s ellipsis menu beside its status. The server validates the result and protects repeated submission from applying ratings twice.

  3. Correct a mistake

For a live match, choose Enter result and select score or forfeit. For a finished match, open its three-dot menu to correct the result, record a forfeit, or void it. Reasons are optional. Delete match is available for unfinished and finished matches after confirmation. It removes competitive, rating, and statistics effects while preserving history. Required deleted tournament slots show Match needed and Create replacement match; progression waits for a replacement. Settings → Audit retains every result revision and links to the affected match, including deleted records. Edit players can correct a finished match’s player credit while retaining its score and winning side; affected ratings are recalculated and previous rosters remain in Audit.

  4. Resolve a concurrent change

If another host changed the record first, refresh and review the current result. Do not repeatedly resubmit an old form.

  5. Find the audit trail

Open event Settings → Audit for event changes or group Settings → Audit for group administration. Tables can be searched, filtered, and sorted. Audit information remains restricted to authorized organizers.
