Schedule a repeating event

Build and preview repeat patterns in the scheduling timezone.

  1. Choose a pattern

In event creation or series Settings choose Daily, Weekly, or Monthly under Repeats. Set the interval and weekdays. Monthly rules can use numbered dates, dates counting backward from month end, or ordinal weekdays such as the last Friday.

  2. Set the end

Choose no end date, a number of occurrences, an end date, or the earlier of both limits. Existing rules remain unchanged when you edit unrelated settings.

  3. Refine advanced rules

Advanced recurrence options can restrict months, year days, week numbers, positions among matching dates, hours, minutes, seconds, first weekday, and Easter-relative dates. Filters combine; a very restrictive pattern can have no matching dates. Negative positions count from the end.

  4. Preview and save

Preview next occurrences shows up to ten dates within five years using the same server engine as event generation. Dates use the scheduling timezone, including daylight-saving changes. When editing a series, choose the intended this/future/series scope before saving. Existing materialization and occurrence limits still apply.
